Recap

After a tough week that left 5 players(4 injured and 1 out of town) from our starting 23 last week missing action, Utah took a less than full roster to play a nationally ranked Arizona side.

A young Utah squad let the moment get to them and they allowed Arizona make some plays that had them running in a few quick tries. Utah regrouped and had a few opportunities driving deep in Arizona territory but small mistakes cost them and they turned over multiple opportunities to make it more of a contest.

Utah was able to get a try on a good possession where Utah forwards were able to pick and drive up the field. Freshman Lucas Geberlot was able to dive in and get his first try as a Ute in D1A!

With the score out of reach in the second half Utah brought their whole b side in to get some time playing against a top level team for development. It also served to help keep the team healthy for the long season ahead and Arizona was able to run up the score even more.

The Arizona Head Coach commented that he noticed a huge improvement in physical size and skill in the team and remarked that we are on a good path to rebuild.
